CAMPUS SALES MANAGER

THE JOB
The campus sales manager is responsible for developing and expanding our market share on those campuses assigned to them through aggressive sales techniques such as outbound calls, developing an Independent Campus Sales Representative network and creating strategically targeted marketing plans.

As the South/Southeast Campus Manager you will be responsible for a group of campuses predominately based in or around the South/Southeast region of the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following but are not limited to this list. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Grow your Campuses' annual sales by 25% year over year
  • Maintain your Client Contact Manager and Pipeline
    • Maintaining thorough records of interactions with prospects and clients by way of our Client Contact Manager
  • Campus Market Research
    • Develop an ability to connect with the customers at each campus through basic information; including learning school colors, mascots, traditions, major events, dates of instruction/holidays, etc.
    • Taking a passionate interest in campus culture: Knowing what your customers want before they do. You have to understand things like the campus demographic, aesthetic tastes, geographic style trends, etc.
  • Development and Expansion of our Campus Sales Representative Network
    • Find and recruit campus sales representatives to expand our business on campus
    • Distribute and manage contracts for Campus reps
    • Grow the percentage of Campus rep sales on each campus
    • Develop a system to maintain consistent communication with your campus reps
  • Work with your Sales Manager to:
    • Create sales projections on a per school basis, broken down at the minimum quarterly
    • Create long term goals for each campus; including sales goals, rep goals and overall market share goals
    • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies specific to each campus
  • Communicate with Inside Sales Representatives
    • Use tools provided by Kotis to efficiently transition the processing of all orders and building of all Showcases (Kotis' presentation and quote program) to your Inside Sales Representatives
    • Collect all information from prospects and clients that Inside Sales Representatives will need for Showcases and orders
    • Review Showcases that your Inside team has prepared for prospects and clients
  • Outbound Sales and Account Management
    • Making outbound cold calls to prospective clients on campus (at minimum 10 per day)
    • Making outbound warm calls to current clients to build lasting relationships
    • Continuous sales training in key areas including: Outbound calling, relationship building, customer service, product knowledge, company culture, time management, etc.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Relocation to Seattle, WA, is a MUST
  • BS/BA from South/Southeastern college is preferred
  • Fraternity or Sorority affiliation desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Team Player and ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with your peers
  • Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Social Media and Internet)
  • Ability to outline and achieve goals on a daily/weekly/monthly basis both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Strong work ethic, Time Management skills, and Self motivation are strongly desired in the ideal candidate
  • Some travel is required

COMPENSATION
Generous base salary plus commission and bonuses based on performance.
