THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
The perfect candidate has general work experience in all the HR tasks listed below and has been directly responsible for recruiting and hiring at minimum 50 people.

Because this position will report directly to the owners of the company, he/she must not only be extremely quick and self-motivated, but also must know many of the answers required for this position thus not requiring assistance and direction on each and every task.

THE JOB
The HR Generalist will be involved with all things HR related at Kotis. The primary positional goals are:
  1. Recruiting
  2. HR Administration
  3. Employee Performance Improvement
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to (in order of importance):
  • Recruiting
    • Recruiting – looking through resumes, looking for applicants
    • Interviewing – initial calls, setting up interviews
    • Offer letter packages
    • First day paperwork
    • Onboarding and initial training
  • Benefits
    • 401k (new enrollment, bi-weekly entries)
    • Health Insurance (new enrollment, questions, canceling plans)
    • Managing any other benefit programs
  • Employee Data/Policies/Legal
    • Update Employee Handbook
    • Enter new hire information into system
    • Update ADP (payroll system) with personnel changes
    • Unemployment, garnishment and workers compensation paperwork
    • Organize employee folders
  • Employee Development
    • Help Develop Managers
    • Employee training
    • Quarterly Reviews
    • Employee Performance Issues
    • Exit Interviews
  • Payroll (depending on previous experience)
    • Enter and submit payroll
    • Ensure people fill out timesheets
    • Double check payroll data
  • Office Manager
    • Help with company events
    • Schedule monthly company meetings
    • Employee recognition programs
    • Other office manager tasks
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Full Time Human Resource experience required – Minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely quick and very strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet)
  • Self-motivated
  • Time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • BS/BA or equivalent required

COMPENSATION
35k – 55k (depends on experience)
