The Major Accounts position connects all the dots from initial design and product brainstorming to delivery to the customer's door step. This is not your average Account Management position: you're a marketing consultant, branding expert and customer service advocate on overdrive.

This position works in tandem with a top producing member of our Outside Sales Staff to meet monthly sales goals. Your main goal is to act as the day to day contact for our clients; this is an account management position with an aggressive focus on expanding sales among your clientele base. Our Account Management Team is integral to the success of our corporate division; you will be the "voice" of Kotis to the customer.
Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary responsibilities will be client retention and growth
Brainstorm and present product pitches to clients
Respond promptly and professionally to service your client's needs
Generate pricing and maintain profit margin
Develop customer relationships through phone and client-facing communication
Stay up to date on product trends and industry news
Build, manage and maintain online stores for key accounts
Efficiently maintain CRM database of leads, client interaction and follow ups
Prioritize a constant stream of sales requests, customer feedback and supplier inquiries
Manage a diverse book of business and actively seek an understanding of each vertical
YOUR TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
Outbound calls to existing clients to go over product options on their employee apparel sale
Researching the best supplier to use to fit in a last minute rush order
A whiteboard product and design brainstorming session with the design team
Writing copy for online store product descriptions that speak to targeted online shoppers
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum 2 years of Account Management experience
Client-facing experience (written, by phone and in-person)
Creativity and experience in product presentation, design brainstorming and bringing a customer's vision to life
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Passionate about talking to customers, understanding their needs, advocating for them and providing solutions to help them succeed
Proven track record of increasing sales or business opportunities through client development
Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet)
Positive attitude and pro-activity are crucial
Time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
AA, BS/BA or equivalent experience is desired
