THE JOB
Your role at Kotis will be New Business Development. You will utilize your cold calling, networking, closing and other sales skills to generate New Business. You will be responsible for growth of sales within your assigned territory or industry. You must be readily available during your clients' and prospects' normal 8am – 5pm business hours to work from our Corporate Office and be able to attend off-site sales calls. Longer hours may be necessary at times to meet daily requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Outbound Sales Calls
  • - Make a minimum of 40 New Dials per day
    - Follow through with prospects in your pipeline
    - Maintain at minimum a 60:1 New Dial to Sale ratio
  • Attend Sales Meetings
  • - Make off-site sales calls to prospects and existing clients
    - Educate prospects on benefits Kotis offers
    - Answer questions from prospects
    - Present solutions to prospects' past and present problems regarding promotional products and apparel
    - Move prospects through the Kotis Sales Cycle
    - Build bond and rapport with prospects and clients
  • Prospecting and Networking
  • - Use lead generation tools and software to find 40 New Dials for each day
    - Utilize social and professional networking to generate prospects
    - Generate referral business from existing clients with a minimum of two referrals per week
  • Maintain your Client Contact Manager (CCM) and Pipeline
  • - Fill your CCM each day with 40 New Dials for the following day
    - Accurately record all prospect/client interactions into the CCM in a timely fashion
    - CCM must be 100% up to date at end of each day
    - Actively manage and monitor your Pipeline to include current projects, remove lost projects and ensure sufficient input to obtain desired output
  • Communicate with Account Managers (AMs)
  • - Use tools provided by Kotis to efficiently transition the processing of all orders and building of all Showcases (Kotis' presentation and quote program) to your AM team
    - Collect all information from prospects and clients that AMs will need for Showcases and orders
    - Review Showcases that your AM team has prepared for prospects and clients
  • Communicate with Existing Clients
  • - While your role is New Business Development, you will need to maintain communication with existing clients
    - Call once per order cycle to keep Kotis fresh in clients' minds
    - Meet with local clients when requested
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, tasks, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience
  • Maintain an average of at least 40 New Dials per day
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas set forth by management
  • One year minimum outbound cold call experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Very strong PC Skills (proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Internet Explorer)
  • Type at least 50 WPM
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience is desired
  • Ability to think analytically about tasks at hand and not just "do"
  • Self motivated with positive attitude
  • Time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment

COMPENSATION
  • Compensation is structured as a base salary plus commission
